NORBIT secures new defence and security orders totaling NOK 220 million

NORBIT announced today its Product Innovation & Realization (PIR) segment has received a new contract manufacturing order valued at approximately NOK 120 million. The order comes from an undisclosed European client within the defence and security sector, with deliveries scheduled for late 2025 and early 2026. This follows a recently awarded NOK 100 million order for initial deliveries in early first quarter 2026.

According to chief executive Per Jørgen Weisethaunet, the company's strategic partnerships in the defence and security domain are evolving, reflecting strong industry momentum amidst a complex geopolitical landscape. NORBIT has proactively built capacity and inventory through close client collaboration to ensure preparedness for such opportunities.
