M Vest Water secures long-term trial with Hamburg dredging giant METHA

M Vest Water (MVW) announced a purchase order for a long-term trial of its NORWAFLOC® products with METHA, a leading dredging company and part of the Hamburg Port Authority, starting in November 2025. The trial, running for a minimum of one month, involves dewatering approximately 10,000 m³ of pre-thickened dredging sludge per month, representing over a third of METHA's average monthly volume. Successful completion could lead to commercial negotiations for long-term contracts.

This trial follows MVW's successful completion of the third out of four qualification steps for its NORWAFLOC® products at METHA in August 2025. METHA, known as "The washing machine of the Port of Hamburg," annually dewaters 300,000 tons of sludge with a capacity of 1,000,000 tons, vital for keeping the port open for approximately 12,000 ships.
