Color Group AS announces executive leadership changes, new CFO named

Color Group AS has announced a significant change in its executive management, with CFO Bjorn Paulsen, aged 72, retiring after 26 years. Paulsen, whose leadership was instrumental in the company’s financial stability and growth, will continue to contribute as a board member of Color Group / Color Line. He successfully steered the company through challenging periods, including the financial crisis and the pandemic.

Christian Arndt, 55, has been appointed as the new CFO, bringing extensive industry experience. Arndt has been with Color Group AS since 1999, serving as finance director since 2013, and possesses deep insight into the company’s operations, values, and goals. Simultaneously, Andreas Ringen, 41, has been named finance manager, a role he will combine with his current position as portfolio manager at O.N. Sunde AS.

Color Group AS is the parent company of the Color Line Group, a prominent cruise and transport shipping company in Europe. The leadership transitions are effective as of October 14, 2025.
