Multiconsult nominated for Norwegian defense environmental advisory contract

Multiconsult Norge AS has been nominated as the primary supplier for a framework agreement for environmental advisory services by the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency (NDEA). This agreement has an estimated total value of NOK 200 million and a duration of five years. It covers a broad spectrum of environmental services across Norway, supporting NDEA's sustainable management of defense properties and activities.

The scope of services includes environmental site investigations, risk assessments, development of action plans, and mapping for remediation, including waste management. It also encompasses engineering design, preparation of tender documents with environmental and SHA planning, and expertise in mapping and remediating PFAS-contaminated areas. Furthermore, the agreement covers environmental advisory for various defense facilities and energy consulting, including energy labelling.

This nomination, subject to a standstill period expiring on October 13, 2025, extends Multiconsult's 12-year history of providing environmental services to the NDEA. The company will deliver these services nationwide, reinforcing its standing as a leading multidisciplinary consulting service provider to the Norwegian defense sector.
