Grieg Seafood Q3 harvest falls short due to high temperatures

Grieg Seafood ASA reported an estimated harvest volume of 6,800 tonnes GWT from continued operations for the third quarter of 2025. This figure came in approximately 1,200 tonnes below the company's guidance, primarily attributed to elevated seawater temperatures during the period. The company noted that earlier harvesting occurred this quarter to prioritize long-term fish welfare and optimize maximum permitted biomass, aiming to better position Grieg Seafood for Q4 2025 and into 2026.

Following a transaction announced on July 17, 2025, Grieg Seafood's operations will concentrate on a more geographically focused footprint in southwestern Norway, specifically with farms in Rogaland and headquarters in Bergen.
