Entelios to acquire World Kinect's Nordic power customer portfolio

Entelios has signed an agreement with the Nordic subsidiaries of World Kinect Corporation to acquire their customer portfolio in the Nordics. This transaction is expected to solidify Entelios' position as a top power supplier in the public and private sectors across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. Currently managing 34 TWh, Entelios will add an additional 10 TWh from World Kinect's portfolio.

The acquisition is lauded by Entelios' chief executive, Kolbjorn Hembre, as a strategic move that will bring new product advantages to customers, focusing on reducing power consumption, costs, and carbon emissions. Peggy Meyer, senior vice president, global energy supply and trading at World Kinect, emphasized a commitment to customer continuity throughout the transition. The deal also aligns with A Energi's strategy to increase customer volume and portfolio management.

The transaction is scheduled for completion on January 1, 2026, pending approval from competition authorities in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. This move underscores the increasing complexity of the power market and the need for robust expertise and volume to manage challenges effectively.
