AKOFS Offshore secures $246m Brazil contract for AKOFS Santos vessel

AKOFS Offshore AS, a 66.7% owned affiliate of Akastor ASA, has secured a four-year contract for its AKOFS Santos vessel with Petrobras in Brazil. The Multi-Purpose Supply Vessel (MPSV) will begin operations in January 2027, following the current contract's expiry and necessary preparations. This new engagement follows a competitive tender process.

The total contract value is $246 million, with approximately $140 million allocated as revenue to AKOFS Offshore and added to its backlog. With this new award, AKOFS Offshore's total contract backlog now stands at approximately $612 million as of the end of Q2 2025. AKOFS Offshore will collaborate with partners Bravante for marine services and IKM Subsea for ROV services.

AKOFS Offshore specializes in vessel-based subsea well construction and intervention services. The company operates three specialized offshore vessels: AKOFS Santos and Aker Wayfarer, both contracted to Petrobras in Brazil, and AKOFS Seafarer, which is contracted to Equinor on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
