Salmon Evolution reports strong Q3 performance, record biomass production

Salmon Evolution ASA (OSL:SALME) announced a robust Q3 2025 operational update, showcasing continued stable operations, minimal mortality, and all-time high biomass production. The company harvested 1,387 tonnes HOG, realizing an all-in price of approximately NOK 61/kg, with average harvest weights increasing 20% from Q2 to 3.5 kg HOG. Net biomass growth reached approximately 1,800 tonnes LW, up 6% from Q2, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of increased biomass production.

The company's farm is now fully stocked with a standing biomass of 3,009 tonnes LW by the end of Q3, aligning with its run-rate targets for both volume and individuals. Chief executive Trond Håkon Schaug-Pettersen noted that recovering salmon prices in September, fueled by negative year-on-year growth in Norwegian biomass, position Salmon Evolution strongly to capitalize on the tightening supply-demand balance anticipated in 2026.

This positive trend builds on continued focus and investments in smolt operations, with the August smolt release proving to be the strongest performing group to date.
