Capsol technologies names new cfo to bolster global expansion

Capsol Technologies, a leading carbon capture technology provider, announced on October 3, 2025, the appointment of Bjørn Kristian Røed as its new chief financial officer, effective January 1, 2026. Røed succeeds Ingar Bergh, who is departing. Chief executive Wendy Lam expressed confidence that Røed's experience will strengthen the company's financial platform and support its global ambitions.

Røed joins Capsol from Havfram, an international offshore wind contractor, where he served as cfo and established a comprehensive corporate organization. His prior experience includes senior roles at Odfjell SE and nearly a decade in equity and credit research with leading Nordic investment banks. Røed highlighted carbon capture's role in the global energy transition and expressed eagerness to build the organization and partnerships required to accelerate CCUS adoption.

Capsol Technologies aims to accelerate the transition to a net-zero future with its energy-efficient carbon capture technology. The technology is licensed globally, targeting key segments such as cement, biomass, energy-from-waste, and gas turbines.
