Multiconsult restructures executive team, names managing director for Norway

Multiconsult ASA is implementing a new executive management team and organizational structure from October 1, 2025, to sharpen management focus across its group and Norwegian operations. Chief executive grethe bergly will now concentrate on her group role, while kristin olsson augestad assumes the position of managing director for multiconsult norway. The number of managers holding dual roles across both entities will be reduced. Ove b. haupberg will dedicate his full capacity as chief financial officer for the group.

The new group executive management team includes grethe bergly as chief executive, ove b. haupberg as chief financial officer, geir juterud for digital, kari nicolaisen for human resources and communications, and agathe bryde schjetlein for sustainability. Kristin olsson augestad will serve as executive vice president and managing director of multiconsult norway. Recruitment is underway for roles in architecture and international, with grethe bergly temporarily covering international.

This reorganization follows grethe bergly's previously announced intention in March 2025 to step down as chief executive. The board is actively recruiting her successor, and bergly will remain in her current role until a new appointment is finalized. The changes are designed to position multiconsult for ambitious growth in the Nordic region and Poland, while ensuring multiconsult norway can fully focus on its ambitions in the Norwegian market.
