Odfjell Technology secures significant UK North Sea contract extension

Odfjell Technology (UK) Ltd has announced a one-year extension to its master service agreements with a major North Sea operator, securing its firm backlog through to July 2027. This extension, awarded on September 29, 2025, builds on a relationship that began in 2017. The agreement includes two additional one-year extension options.

The extended scope covers plug and abandonment (P&A) and return to service (RTS) operational support, with further operations scheduled to commence in 2026. Odfjell Technology has now secured a substantial share of the RTS scope, moving beyond an ad hoc basis to direct deliverables coordinated with the client.

John Moffat, svp operations & P&A UK, highlighted that the extension reinforces the company's position in the growing P&A market. Odfjell Technology, established in April 2022 as a spin-off from Odfjell Drilling, operates in over 30 countries and employs more than 2,400 professionals.
