AF Gruppen secures major Fornebu South development project

AF Gruppen has been awarded a collaboration contract by OBOS Fornebu AS for the development of the new urban area Fornebu Sør in Bærum. This collaboration project involves a close partnership between OBOS and AF Gruppen to develop and implement a large residential and commercial project, including 510 homes with high ambitions for quality, sustainability, and architecture. This agreement builds on previous successful collaborations, such as the Storøykilen project.

Work on collaboration phase 1 begins immediately. The start of collaboration phase 2, which involves implementation, is planned for the first quarter of 2027. The estimated contract value is 2,000 MNOK, excluding VAT.

This value will be added to AF Gruppen's order book upon the potential contract signing for collaboration phase 2. Amund Tøftum, chief executive of AF Gruppen, expressed pride in participating in the development of Fornebu Sør, highlighting it as an important project and an example of how collaboration can realize complex urban development initiatives.
