Himalaya Shipping locks in fixed rate for Mount Etna vessel

Himalaya Shipping Ltd. announced the conversion of the index-linked time charter for its vessel, Mount Etna, to a fixed rate time charter. This new agreement sets the daily gross rate at approximately $38,800, effective from October 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025. The vessel will also continue to receive scrubber benefits under existing time charter terms.

This conversion contributes to Himalaya Shipping's diversified charter portfolio. From October 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, the company will have six vessels fixed at an average gross rate of approximately $36,300 per day. Himalaya Shipping Ltd. currently operates a fleet of twelve vessels.
