Reach Subsea expands USV fleet with two new vessels

Reach Subsea ASA announced on September 24, 2025, it has ordered Reach Remote 3 and 4, the next two uncrewed surface vessels (USVs), from Kongsberg Maritime. Delivery is scheduled for the second half of 2027. The new vessels will mirror the specifications of Reach Remote 1 and 2, delivered earlier this year and now in commercial operation, with targeted adjustments based on operational insights.

The total investment from Reach Subsea for Reach Remote 3 and 4, ready for commercial operations and after EU funding, is approximately NOK 620 million. This includes a €14.3 million grant from the European Union through the Emission Trading System Innovation Fund, announced on October 22, 2024.

Debt financing for two-thirds of Reach Subsea's investment in these vessels has been secured through DNB, Sparebank 1 Sør-Norge, and EKSFIN. This broadens Reach Subsea's banking relationships and strengthens its financial flexibility for continued investment in innovative subsea solutions.
