DNO appoints Birgitte Wendelbo Johansen as new cfo

DNO ASA, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, announced the appointment of Birgitte Wendelbo Johansen as its new chief financial officer, effective November 1, 2025. She replaces Haakon Sandborg, who is stepping down after 24 years but will remain in a senior advisory capacity until the end of the year.

Ms. Johansen joins DNO from Reach Subsea ASA, where she served as cfo since 2012. Her career also includes experience in banking, specializing in shipping and energy. Mr. Sandborg highlighted Ms. Johansen's experience and enthusiasm.

Ms. Johansen acknowledged Mr. Sandborg's "hard to overstate" contribution, noting DNO's completion of 21 successful bond placements under his tenure with no waivers, amendments, or defaults.
