Olav Thon Eiendomsselskap takes full ownership of Sartor Storsenter

Olav Thon Eiendomsselskap ASA is acquiring Sartor Holding AS's 40% stake in Sartor Storsenter, making it the sole owner of the shopping center. The takeover is scheduled for September 24, 2025, concluding a partnership that began in 2004, where Olav Thon Eiendomsselskap ASA held a 60% ownership.

Sartor Storsenter, a leading shopping center in the Bergen region, generated rental income of NOK 150 million in 2024. In the first half of 2025, it ranked as Norway's 15th largest by tenant turnover. Located in Sotra, Øygarden municipality, the center serves a population of approximately 40,000.

Olav Thon Eiendomsselskap ASA's administrative director, Dag Tangevald-Jensen, highlighted the center's strong market position, which is expected to strengthen further with the completion of the new road connection to Bergen – Sotrasambandet – in 2027. The company, established in 1982, has significantly grown its real estate portfolio, with annual rental income for its properties increasing to NOK 4.125 billion by early 2025.
