Himalaya Shipping secures fixed rate charter for Mount Bandeira

Himalaya Shipping Ltd. announced the conversion of an index-linked time charter for its vessel, Mount Bandeira, to a fixed rate time charter. This new agreement sets the rate at approximately $38,000 per day, gross, effective from October 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025. The vessel will also continue to receive scrubber benefits under the terms of the existing charter.

With this conversion, Himalaya Shipping will have five vessels operating under fixed rate charters during the period of October 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, at an average gross rate of approximately $35,800 per day. Himalaya Shipping Ltd., an independent bulk carrier company incorporated in Bermuda, currently operates a fleet of twelve vessels.
