Diana Shipping sells Ultramax vessel "DSI Drammen" for $26.86m

Diana Shipping Inc. announced the sale of its 2016-built Ultramax dry bulk vessel, the m/v DSI Drammen, to an unaffiliated third party for approximately $26.86 million before commissions. Delivery of the vessel is expected by October 31, 2025. The company holds a 25% interest in the limited partnership that owns the vessel, with the remaining 75% held by Ecobulk AS.

Following this sale, Diana Shipping Inc.'s fleet will consist of 36 dry bulk vessels, with an additional two methanol dual-fuel new-building Kamsarmax vessels expected by the second half of 2027 and first half of 2028. The company's current fleet, excluding the m/v DSI Drammen and future deliveries, boasts a combined carrying capacity of approximately 4.1 million dwt and a weighted average age of 11.82 years.
