Multiconsult nominated for NOK 300m Norwegian Defence framework agreement

Multiconsult Norge AS, with subcontractors LINK Arkitektur AS and LPO Arkitekter AS, has been nominated for a substantial framework agreement (R01696) with The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency (NDEA). This agreement, focused on design and consulting services for the Long-Term Plan for the Armed Forces in Midt Troms, holds an estimated total value of NOK 300 million excluding VAT. The contract supports "Forsvarsløftet - For Norges trygghet," the Norwegian Parliament's long-term plan for the defense sector spanning 2025-2036.

The framework covers multidisciplinary advisory and design services for both early-phase and implementation-phase projects across municipalities including Bardu, Målselv, Balsfjord, Senja, and Sørreisa. Multiconsult is nominated to provide services across all disciplines, including architecture, interior architecture, and landscape architecture. The scope encompasses cost estimation, solution proposals, technical notes, environmental surveys, and risk analyses for various building types such as barracks, offices, and welfare facilities.

Initially, the agreement has a duration of two years, with options for extensions up to a total of seven years. Projects will be initiated as financing becomes available. This nomination, subject to a standstill period expiring on 25 September 2025, further solidifies Multiconsult's position as a key provider to the Norwegian defence sector, adding to existing framework agreements with NDEA.
