IDEX Biometrics secures major order for nationwide rollout of sensor systems

IDEX Biometrics ASA has secured an order for 45,000 sensor systems from DigAware, the product division of Emnovate. This order finalizes the sensor delivery pipeline initially announced on January 8, 2025, and is expected to facilitate DigAware's rapid expansion of biometric access solutions throughout the United States, with future global ambitions.

DigAware's chief executive, Robin Bienfait, highlighted the "rapidly growing demand for secure access control and improved safety" driving their market investment and praised IDEX's sensor speed, accuracy, and support. Anders Storbråten, chief executive of IDEX, emphasized DigAware as an "ideal high-growth partner" adopting IDEX solutions for their security and biometric privacy protection.

IDEX Biometrics specializes in fingerprint biometrics for authentication across payments, access control, and digital identity, utilizing patented sensor technologies and software. The announcement was issued on September 17, 2025, by Kjell-Arne Besseberg, chief operating officer, on behalf of IDEX Biometrics ASA.
