Hexagon agility forms Pioneer Clean Fleet Solutions for natural gas truck leasing

Hexagon Agility, a Hexagon Composites business, has announced the formation of Pioneer Clean Fleet Solutions (Pioneer CFS). This new company will focus on leasing low-carbon heavy-duty commercial vehicles in North America.

Launched on September 10, 2025, the initiative is a strategic relationship with Clean Energy Fuels Corp. and Cummins Inc. Pioneer CFS will offer comprehensive leasing packages that include natural gas trucks, fuel, and service.

The venture is positioned to accelerate the adoption of natural gas trucks, especially with the introduction of Cummins' X15N engine, which is said to match diesel in range, performance, and drivability. Hexagon Agility will contribute industry expertise, its network, and provide fuel systems, mobile refueling, and aftermarket solutions to Pioneer CFS customers.

Pioneer CFS has already commenced work with fleets, targeting early deployments in the coming months across multiple North American regions. The independent company will feature a nationwide team focused on delivering economic viability and improved environmental performance through innovative leasing solutions.
