Hofseth BioCare appoints former Nestle Health Science leader to drive growth

Hofseth BioCare ASA (HBC) has announced the appointment of Paul Bruhn as head of new business development. Mr. Bruhn brings over 25 years of experience from healthcare and medical nutrition, previously holding leadership roles at Novartis Medical Nutrition and Nestle Health Science, including head of Nestle Health Science Asia, Oceania, Middle East and Africa Region. His international background spans key markets such as Japan, Korea, India, and Canada, aligning with HBC's focus on clinical nutrition and consumer healthcare.

Mr. Bruhn expressed enthusiasm for contributing to HBC's growth, particularly in Asia, China, and the ANZ region, citing a market need for new, clinically backed nutrition sources. He highlighted HBC's unique portfolio of science-backed, sustainable salmon-derived ingredients, including OmeGo®, ProGo®, NT-II™, and PetGo®.

HBC, a Norwegian company, upcycles salmon side streams into ingredients for human and pet health, such as ProGo® for improved iron metabolism, OmeGo® for immune and respiratory health, and CalGo®/NT-II® for bone and joint health. The company also has a biotech spin-out, HBC Immunology.
