Norse Atlantic hits 95% load factor, surpasses 4m passengers in August

Norse Atlantic Airways announced a robust August 2025, achieving a 95% load factor across its network and ACMI/charter operations, an 8-percentage point increase year-over-year. The load factor in its own scheduled network also reached 95%, up from 87% in August 2024. The airline transported 208,153 passengers, a 9% increase compared to August 2024.

The company operated 659 flights in August 2025, including 52 ACMI/charter flights, a notable increase from 11 in August 2024. Punctuality decreased to 64%, down 15 percentage points year-over-year, with Air Traffic Control (ATC) delays and airport congestions impacting on-time performance. Norse maintained a 99% completion rate for its scheduled flights.

CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen highlighted consistent strong passenger growth and a world-leading load factor above 90% for the tenth consecutive month. The airline reported ASK of 1,684 million, a 7% increase, and RPK of 1,599 million, up 17% year-over-year.
