AF Gruppen wins major Aker Hospital contract for vital infrastructure

Helse Sør-Øst RHF has nominated AF Energi, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, for a contract covering piping, sanitary, and water treatment systems in the Somatics building at the new Aker Hospital. This significant agreement, valued at approximately MNOK 300 excluding VAT, will be executed as a total enterprise contract for the 120,000 square meter Somatics building.

Planning work for the project will commence immediately, with production anticipated to begin in the second quarter of 2026. The entire installation is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2029.

Eirik Wraal, executive vice president at AF Gruppen, expressed satisfaction with securing another contract for the project, highlighting AF Energi's extensive experience. He affirmed the company's commitment to delivering functional solutions in close collaboration with Helse Sør-Øst RHF.
