Mutares acquires temperature-controlled logistics firm Fuentes

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has finalized the acquisition of Lineage Spain Transportation S.L., known as Fuentes, from Lineage Group. This platform acquisition is set to significantly bolster Mutares' Goods & Services segment, with planned revenues projected to reach approximately €200m by 2025.

Fuentes specializes in temperature-controlled food transport, primarily focusing on fruits and vegetables. The company provides national, international, and last-mile logistics across the entire food supply chain. Headquartered in Las Torres de Cotillas (Murcia), Spain, Fuentes also operates three additional facilities in Spain and an international hub in Vlissingen, Netherlands, employing around 850 people.

Mutares, a listed private equity holding company, acquires companies in special situations with significant operational improvement potential. These companies undergo a repositioning and stabilization process before being resold.
