Prosafe announces CEO resignation, interim leadership appointed

Terje Askvig will resign as chief executive of Prosafe SE on September 1, 2025. Current chief financial officer Reese McNeel will step into the role of interim chief executive and chief financial officer. Carey Lowe, chair of the board of directors, will become executive chairman to guide the company through this transitional phase.

The board expressed gratitude for Askvig's contributions, particularly his leadership during a challenging financial restructuring. This cemented Prosafe's position as a global leader in floating accommodation and Units for Maintenance and Safety (UMS). The company has initiated a search for a permanent chief executive.

Prosafe operates a fleet of semi-submersible accommodation vessels. This announcement is considered inside information under EU Market Abuse Regulation.
