Himalaya Shipping secures fixed-rate charters for vessels, stabilizing earnings

Himalaya Shipping Ltd. has converted index-linked time charters for two vessels to fixed-rate time charters, effective from October 1 to December 31, 2025, at an average gross rate of $38,700 per day. These vessels will also continue to benefit from existing scrubber agreements.

Additionally, the company has other fixed-rate charters in place for the period from September 1 to December 31, 2025. This includes six vessels chartered from September 1 to September 30, 2025, at an average gross rate of $34,000 per day, and four vessels from October 1 to December 31, 2025, at an average gross rate of $35,200 per day.
