Austevoll Seafood profit plunges on falling salmon prices

Austevoll Seafood ASA reported Q2 2025 revenue rose to MNOK 10,065 from MNOK 9,878 a year earlier, but adjusted EBITDA plummeted to MNOK 1,311 from MNOK 1,792 in Q2 2024.

Net profit crashed to MNOK 106 from MNOK 2,172 the previous year. The decline was driven by falling salmon and trout prices despite higher slaughter volumes, plus a negative biological asset fair value adjustment of MNOK 513 compared to a positive MNOK 178 adjustment in Q2 2024.
