Masoval reports lower Q2 earnings amid higher salmon supply

Masoval Group harvested 8,538 GWT in Q2 2025, generating NOK 869m in revenue. Operational EBIT per kilogram for the farming segment was NOK 4.0, down from NOK 41.3 in Q2 2024, reflecting significantly lower salmon prices due to increased global supply.

Despite challenging market conditions, Masoval secured a long-term smolt supply agreement with Nekton for 2.4 million smolts annually from 2027 to 2032. The company maintains its annual harvest guidance of 28,100 GWT for 2025.
