Pryme hits record July production despite operational halt

Pryme reported record monthly pyrolysis oil production of approximately 402 metric tons for July 2025, achieved by July 25th, driven by a record continuous production run demonstrating improved plant reliability.

However, production ceased on July 25th due to staffing issues and equipment inspection revealed the need to replace seals in the stuffing box. This repair requires cooling and reheating the reactor, delaying production restart until at least August 5th.

Despite the record, July's figures remain significantly below the Rotterdam plant's estimated capacity of about 26,000 tons of plastic waste annually.
