M Vest Water qualifies technology at Hamburg facility

M Vest Water announced successful qualification of its NORWAFLOC® technology at METHA, Hamburg Port Authority's dredging sludge treatment facility.

The natural product can now replace 100% of synthetic polyacrylamide chemicals, demonstrated in a large-scale pilot. METHA dewaters 300,000 tonnes of sludge annually with capacity of 1,000,000 tonnes.

A one-week verification run is scheduled for late July, with final qualification anticipated in autumn 2025, leading to commercial negotiations.
