Norwegian reports record Q2 profit, declares first-ever dividend

Norwegian Air Shuttle reported a profit before tax exceeding 1 billion Norwegian kroner and operating profit of 1.25 billion Norwegian kroner in the second quarter, marking the second-highest Q2 operating profit in company history.

The airline will pay its first-ever dividend of 0.90 Norwegian kroner per share in August. The company carried 7.6 million passengers in the quarter with improved load factors.
