Auckland Airport loses High Court appeal on input methodologies

Auckland Airport announced on December 22, 2025, that the High Court declined its merits review appeal regarding the Commerce Commission's Airport Services Input Methodologies (IM Review 2023) Amendment Determination. The appeal, filed by the New Zealand Airports Association and Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch International Airports, specifically challenged the cost of capital.
