Meridian director Michelle Henderson resigns for GM role at NZAS

Michelle Henderson, an independent director at Meridian Energy, has announced her resignation from the company, effective January 27, 2026. Henderson has served on Meridian's board for six years.

Her departure from Meridian Energy is prompted by her new appointment as the general manager of New Zealand Aluminium Smelters (NZAS) at Tiwai. The company issued the announcement on December 4, 2025.
