AFC Group Holdings reports wider net loss in first half 2025

AFC Group Holdings Limited reported operating revenue of NZ$33,053 for the six months ended 30 September 2025, a substantial decrease from NZ$402,345 in the same period of 2024. This led to a gross loss of NZ$4,476, compared to a gross profit of NZ$291,535 in the prior year. The company recorded a net loss of NZ$363,640 for the period, widening from a net loss of NZ$156,912 in September 2024. Basic and diluted earnings per share also decreased to NZ$(0.00006477) from NZ$(0.00003397).

Total assets for the Group stood at NZ$2,059,059 as of 30 September 2025, down from NZ$2,129,822 at 31 March 2025. Current liabilities increased to NZ$2,150,125 from NZ$1,760,992 over the same period, contributing to negative net assets of NZ$(120,066) compared to positive net assets of NZ$243,574 as of 31 March 2025.

The interim period also saw cash and cash equivalents decrease to NZ$2,556 from NZ$3,760 at the start of the period. Cash outflow from operating activities was NZ$(277,150), a decrease from NZ$(208,287) in the previous year. The company had no capital commitments or contingent liabilities at 30 September 2025.
