a2 Milk Pokeno facility nears full China regulatory approval

The a2 Milk Company (a2MC) has received approvals from the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and the General Administration of China Customs (GACC). These relate to the transition of China label infant milk formula product registrations, acquired with the a2 Pokeno facility, to a2MC branded products. These approvals were secured earlier than anticipated.

The final stage of the regulatory process involves submitting an application for State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) approval in December 2025. This review is projected to take approximately six months to complete. Despite the earlier MPI and GACC approvals, a2MC's timeline for the potential launch of the new products remains unchanged, with an expected launch in late first half 2027.
