Air New Zealand buys back shares, including from the Crown

Air New Zealand Limited has acquired a total of 321,869 ordinary shares through a combination of on-market and off-market buy-back programmes. This total includes 157,691 ordinary shares acquired on NZX and ASX, and an additional 164,178 ordinary shares acquired off-market from the Crown, representing 0.0099% of the total class of financial products. All shares acquired will be cancelled.

The on-market acquisitions on ASX averaged AUD $0.5425. The off-market purchase from the Crown was executed at NZD $0.6249 per share. These acquisitions are part of a Board-approved buy-back programme initially announced on 20 February 2025.

Post-acquisition, the total number of ordinary shares excluding Treasury Stock stands at 3,235,605,878, with 93 shares held as Treasury Stock. The shares acquired on NZX and ASX on 17/11/2025 are scheduled for settlement and cancellation on 19/11/2025, while shares from the Crown acquired on 18/11/2025 will be settled and cancelled on 20/11/2025.
