Air New Zealand completes share buyback, reducing outstanding shares

Air New Zealand has completed the acquisition of 1,472,658 ordinary shares through both on-market and off-market buyback programs, as announced on February 20, 2025. This acquisition comprised 721,488 ordinary shares from NZX and ASX, and 751,170 ordinary shares acquired off-market from the Crown. The total percentage of the class of financial products acquired is 0.0455%.

The average acquisition price was NZD $0.6219 for shares on NZX and AUD $0.5391 for shares on ASX. Shares acquired off-market from the Crown were priced at NZD $0.6220. All acquired shares were paid for in cash and are to be canceled, not held as treasury stock.

Following these transactions, the total number of ordinary shares excluding treasury stock stands at 3,235,927,747. The on-market shares acquired on NZX and ASX on November 14, 2025, were settled and canceled on November 18, 2025, while shares acquired off-market from the Crown on November 17, 2025, were settled and canceled on November 19, 2025.
