Veovo lands NAV CANADA contract, expands into new market

Veovo, Gentrack Group's airport software business, announced it will deliver a modern, cloud-based billing system to NAV CANADA. This long-term contract win will see Veovo manage the calculation and invoicing of air navigation service charges across Canadian and international airspace, covering the world's second largest volume of airspace.

The new system will replace NAV CANADA's legacy billing infrastructure with a platform designed for improved flexibility, scalability, and enhanced customer expectations. This initiative marks Veovo's entry into the air navigation service provider market, supporting continued strong growth in its airports division.

NAV CANADA's vice president and chief technology and information officer, David Sheppard, highlighted the importance of the upgrade for accurate and timely billing, while Veovo chief executive James Williamson emphasized the alignment with solving complex aviation challenges.
