Warehouse Group appoints new director, announces AGM details

The Warehouse Group has appointed Hamish Rumbold as an independent non-executive director, effective November 19, 2025. This appointment is expected to strengthen the board's governance and commercial experience across multiple sectors. Concurrently, Robert (Robbie) Tindall will step down from his non-executive director role on November 28, 2025.

Dame Joan Withers, chair, expressed confidence in Rumbold's expertise, highlighting his multi-sector experience and governance acumen, including his roles at House of Travel Holdings and Livestock Improvement Corporation. John Journee is slated to assume the chair role following Dame Joan's retirement at the annual shareholders' meeting.

The 2025 annual shareholders' meeting will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 10:00 am (New Zealand time) both in person and online. Shareholders will vote on the re-election of Caroline Rainsford and Hamish Rumbold, as well as authorising directors to fix the auditor's fees and expenses.
