Sky secures Olympic rights through 2032, releases climate disclosure

Sky Network Television announced on October 29, 2025, that it has secured exclusive New Zealand broadcast rights for the Olympic Games through 2032. This long-term agreement with the International Olympic Committee includes the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter, Los Angeles 2028, French Alps 2030 Winter, and Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games. Sky will leverage its Sky Sport, Sky Sport Now, Sky Open, Three, and ThreeNow platforms for coverage.

Separately, on October 28, 2025, Sky released its 2025 Climate-Related Disclosure (CRD), prepared in accordance with Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards. The CRD covers the 12-months ending June 30, 2025, and should be read with Sky's FY25 annual report, which was released on August 22, 2025.

Sky's chief executive, Sophie Moloney, highlighted that the recent acquisition of Three and ThreeNow was a "game-changer" in securing these rights, allowing the company to reach more New Zealanders across multiple platforms. Both announcements were authorized by Kirstin Jones, company secretary.
