Air New Zealand completes share buyback, reducing outstanding shares

Air New Zealand Limited has acquired a total of 3,233,841 ordinary shares through its previously announced buy-back programs. This total comprises 1,584,331 ordinary shares acquired on NZX and ASX, and an additional 1,649,510 ordinary shares acquired off-market from the Crown. The acquisitions represent 0.0994% of the total class of financial products.

The shares acquired on NZX and ASX were purchased at an average price of NZD $0.5972 and AUD $0.5262, respectively. The off-market acquisition from the Crown was priced at NZD $0.5971 per share. All shares were acquired for cash and are paid in full.

Following the acquisition, the company's total ordinary shares outstanding will be 3,251,288,148, with 93 shares held as Treasury Stock. The shares acquired on NZX and ASX on October 24, 2025, are scheduled for settlement and cancellation on October 29, 2025, while shares acquired off-market from the Crown on October 28, 2025, will settle and cancel on October 30, 2025.
