Meridian Energy shareholders re-elect all directors with strong support

At its annual shareholder meeting on October 21, 2025, Meridian Energy shareholders voted to re-elect all four retiring directors: Julia Hoare, Michelle Henderson, Nagaja Sanatkumar, and Graham Cockroft.

Julia Hoare received 2,051,349,399 votes for (98.65%) and 27,978,829 votes against (1.35%). Michelle Henderson garnered 2,069,485,101 votes for (99.53%) and 9,865,689 votes against (0.47%). Nagaja Sanatkumar secured 2,055,009,531 votes for (98.83%) and 24,260,035 votes against (1.17%). Graham Cockcroft was re-elected with 2,069,533,349 votes for (99.53%) and 9,781,979 votes against (0.47%).

The board also confirmed that all directors are independent, as defined by the NZX Listing Rules, with results reflecting strong shareholder confidence in the company's current leadership.
