Foley Wines names Mike Higgins permanent CEO

Foley Wines Limited announced today, October 17, 2025, the appointment of Mike Higgins as its chief executive officer. Higgins had been serving as interim CEO since February 17, 2025. Paul Brock, chair of Foley Wines, highlighted Higgins' significant commercial experience, stating it would add real value to customers and employees, and play a key role in the continued success of Foley Wines.

Higgins initially joined the Foley New Zealand Group in December 2024 as CEO of Foley Hospitality, overseeing Bill Foley's hospitality and lodge businesses in New Zealand. Prior to this, he was the chief commercial officer for Auckland FC, where he helped launch the club during its inaugural season. Higgins expressed his focus on enhancing the business' growth and premiumisation strategy.

Foley Wines, with its headquarters in Renwick, Marlborough, is a collection of iconic wineries and brands from New Zealand's acclaimed wine regions. The company's major shareholder is Bill Foley.
