Air New Zealand buys back over 1.6m shares

Air New Zealand has acquired a total of 1,679,299 ordinary shares. This comprises 822,726 shares acquired on NZX and ASX, and 856,573 shares acquired off-market from the Crown. The acquisitions are part of a board-approved buy-back program announced on February 20, 2025. The total percentage of the class of Financial Products acquired is 0.0515%.

The average acquisition price for shares on NZX was NZD $0.5981, while shares on ASX were acquired at an average of AUD $0.5249. Shares acquired off-market from the Crown were priced at NZD $0.5983. All shares were acquired for cash and are paid in full.

Following these acquisitions, the total number of ordinary shares (excluding Treasury Stock) stands at 3,261,197,272, with 93 shares held as Treasury Stock. The acquired shares will be canceled, not held as Treasury Stock. Shares acquired on NZX and ASX on October 10, 2025, will be settled and canceled on October 14, 2025. Shares acquired off-market from the Crown on October 13, 2025, will be settled and canceled on October 15, 2025.
