Ventia secures $935m Australian Defence Force clothing contract

Ventia (ASX:VNT) announced on October 10, 2025, that it has been awarded a new contract with the Australian Defence Force for clothing capability services, valued at approximately $935 million. The contract is set to commence in May 2026, with an initial term of seven years and options for extension up to an additional 13 years. This agreement aims to deliver more efficient and effective clothing solutions and a modern customer experience for Defence personnel.

The new contract designates Ventia as the sole industry partner accountable to Defence, collaborating with experienced Australian organizations for clothing design, supply, warehousing, distribution, and retail store services. This approach leverages Ventia’s specialist expertise to provide a compelling value proposition to the Commonwealth. The existing National Clothing Stores Services contract has been extended to ensure a seamless transition to the new arrangement.

Dean Banks, Ventia's managing director and group chief executive officer, highlighted the company's 36-year history supporting the Australian Defence Force, stating the contract reinforces Ventia's trusted partner status and depth of expertise in delivering integrated solutions.
