MTL Securities ceases substantial holding in Me Today

MTL Securities Limited has ceased to be a substantial product holder in Me Today (NZX:MEE) as of October 8, 2025. This follows a series of transactions that resulted in MTL Securities holding nil shares, down from 6,846,137 shares, which previously represented 12.603% of Me Today’s 54,320,096 total shares. The last disclosure of MTL Securities' substantial holding was made on April 11, 2024.

The cessation of the substantial holding was due to the transfer of all MTL Securities' shares. Specifically, 3,692,080 shares were transferred to the trustees of the Baker Investment Trust No 2, 2,932,057 shares went to the trustees of Sinclair Investment Trust, and 220,000 shares were transferred to M&N Kerr Holdings Limited. These transfers were approved by shareholders on March 8, 2024, at a price of 6 cents per share, aligning with the price of Me Today’s rights issue signalled on August 20, 2025.
