Air New Zealand finishes share buyback, acquires 1.2m shares

Air New Zealand Limited has announced the acquisition of 1,202,260 ordinary shares through its previously announced buy-back program, representing 0.0368% of the total class of financial products. This comprises 589,014 shares acquired on NZX and ASX, and 613,246 shares acquired off-market from the Crown.

The on-market acquisitions were priced at an average of NZD $0.5972 for shares on NZX and AUD $0.5283 for shares on ASX. The off-market acquisition from the Crown was priced at NZD $0.5973 per share. All acquisitions were paid in full with cash.

Following these acquisitions, the total number of ordinary shares (excluding Treasury Stock) now stands at 3,265,852,348, with 93 shares held as Treasury Stock. The shares acquired on NZX and ASX are scheduled for settlement and cancellation on October 9, 2025, while shares acquired from the Crown will be settled and cancelled on October 10, 2025.
