Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust updates NAV and share capital

Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC (TEMIT) announced an unaudited cum-income net asset value (NAV) of £2327.385m as of 01 October 2025, equating to 239.67 pence per share. The unaudited ex-income NAV on the same date was £2293.764m, or 236.21 pence per share. These figures were calculated in accordance with Association of Investment Companies recommendations, considering underlying assets and accrued income.

The company further disclosed that on 2 October 2025, it purchased and cancelled 326,235 ordinary shares of 5 pence each at a price of 221.85 pence per share. Following this transaction, TEMIT's share capital comprises 970,727,491 shares in issue and 60,000,000 shares held in treasury, bringing the total voting rights to 970,727,491. Shares in treasury will only be reissued above the prevailing NAV per share.
