Air New Zealand completes share buyback, reducing outstanding shares

Air New Zealand has acquired a total of 1,736,990 ordinary shares through its buyback program. This includes 850,990 ordinary shares acquired on NZX and ASX, and 886,000 ordinary shares acquired off-market from the Crown. The on-market acquisitions were priced at an average of NZD $0.5936 on NZX and AUD $0.5227 on ASX, while the off-market acquisition from the Crown was at NZD $0.5937.

The total number of ordinary shares is now 3,268,901,452. These acquired shares will be cancelled and represent a 0.0531% reduction in the total class of financial products.

Shares acquired on NZX and ASX on October 2, 2025, are set to be settled and cancelled on October 6, 2025. Shares acquired off-market from the Crown on October 3, 2025, will be settled and cancelled on October 7, 2025. This action was authorized by a Board resolution dated February 20, 2025.
